Prof.Dr. Abdul Kadhim Al-Yasiri, President of the University, received in his office the former Minister of Planning and Member of the House of Representatives, the first distinguished professor, Dr. Ali Al-Shukri, to discuss academic affairs and discuss the academic reality in Iraq in general and how to exploit these youth energies in the best way as possible. .

In the same context, a meeting was held for the heads of departments and staff of the university in the presence of the assistants of the President of the University for scientific and administrative affairs by Dr. Al- Yasiri to welcome the Minister, who expressed his thanks for the attendance and his gratitude and appreciation to the President of the University for his warm welcome and reception. To receive any complaint or problem concerning this intellectual group through its own office and to find ways to resolve it.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al-Yasiri presented to His Excellency Dr. Shukri the shield of the university with a modest gift, expressing his happiness with this visit.
