The College of Administrative Technology / Kufa is an academic institution that was established in the academic year 2007/2008 under the Ministerial Order for the year 2007 AD in two sections (accounting techniques and business management techniques), and was affiliated with the Technical Education Institute at that time. Currently, it is affiliated to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, after the establishment of the four technical universities in 2014 affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The College enjoys a distinguished and respected reputation in the local and Arab educational environment based on its strong and renewed relationship with scientific institutions at the national level. The Technical College offers its students and their leaders a range of academic and technical training programs and graduate programs in technical and scientific research, For more than thirty years of continuous technical education.
In the academic year 2012/2013, in order to encourage graduate studies and scientific research, a postgraduate program was developed in the field of accounting techniques and the belief of the faculty to spread the concepts and modern technology to contribute to the development of the educational process and push it to the best, And provide scientific programs that serve the community and provide employment opportunities for college graduates.
This year, 2017/2018, we established the Department of Information Technology (IT), which is one of the specialties that integrates different disciplines (modern programming languages, computer networks, information systems, internet technology), is a positive feature of the university degree obtained by the graduate of the college, as it increases its competitiveness on available jobs.
