Animal Production Department
Animal production department was established in 2006. The department accepted
25 student as a first year stage .The department includes 6 lecturers , 3 trainers ,
and 1 official mgr.The department accepted the output of both agricultural & scientific
secondary schools
The sum of credits are 125 given in two years study duration . The No. of credits given
in the first year 63 divided into 43 practical & 20 theoretical while 62 credits given in the
second year divided into 38 practical & 24 theoretical.
The goals of animal production department are to graduate specialized technical staff ready
For working in rearing large animals , poultry, fish , farm management………… etc.
The output of our department can work in many fields such as
1- working in dairy & beef cattle farms .
2- working in sheep& goats farms.
3- working in poultry & hatchery management.
4- working in fish lakes.
5- working in slaughter house of poultry & large animals.
6- working in artificial insemination centers .
