Vision
The Department of Mechanical techniques/ Production is one of the important technological departments. The Department objective to develop technical education and its modern applications and to be the instructor of the technical service based on cooperation with the community.
Mission
The Mechanical Techniques department adopts a general mission based on an outline of technical education in Iraq. The general objectives are to graduate technical staff that achieves the education and training required, which will be able to understand mechanical system techniques and keep up the global technology development.
Objective
The production branch aims are preparing the technical staff that linked between the specialist and the skilled worker. The department prepares the graduates and provides them with theoretical information and practical practice to be able to carry out the works entrusted to them.
Graduate work description
1 – working on various metal cutting machines (lathe, frieze… etc.).
2 – The ability to distribute production processes on the operating path and prepare the technological course of the production units to achieve the best performance.
3 – Work in the technical departments in the factories and contribute to the preparation of operating cards, whether for workshops or machines and according to the operating items.
- Work in quality and quality control production sector.
5 – Participation and implementation in the machines maintenance and periodic maintenance in his field.
