The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Receives the Governor of Najaf Al-Ashraf

The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, received the Governor of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Mr. Yusuf Maki Kanawi, at his office, in the presence of the University accompanying by the vice   Presidents of scientific affairs and administrative affairs, deans of the colleges and institutes of Najaf Al-Ashraf, Diwaniya, and Al-Rumaitha, as well as the directors of the departments at the university main campus.

The President of the University accompanied the Governor and his accompanying delegation on a field tour to explore the university environment, its departments, main centers, and local infrastructure on campus. The Governor have praised the academic infrastructure, and the efforts made to enhance technical education and train qualified staff, affiliates, and students through the Continuing Education Center, in a way that serves the labor market and meets the needs of the community.

The Governor have emphasized his commitment to providing full support to the university and overcoming all obstacles to develop its infrastructure and educational programs. He praised the vital role the university plays in enhancing the academic level and offering educational programs that keep pace with global advancements.

For his part, the President of the University provided a detailed presentation about the university, its divisions, developmental projects, and plans to advance higher education, which serves the people of the City of Amir al-Mu’minin (Peace Be Upon Him) and the governorates of the Middle Euphrates region.

Directors of local relevant directorates was among the visited delegation, where a meeting was hold attended by them and the front line personal of the university as well as the governor to explore the potential collaboration between the university and local governmental institutions. Such cooperation shall directly influence and supports integration to develop the education process and serves the razing generation of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate.
