Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University implements the sixth international English Language Test “IELTS”… And Al-Zubaidi checks

The “IELTS” Center at the presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University carried out the sixth international English Language Test “IELTS” for a number of participants applying for Master’s and doctoral graduate studies .

For his part, the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, inspected the test halls and was briefed on the procedures followed by the university staff, who supervised the tests, praising the high readiness and readiness of the trainee staff in the implementation of the exam conditions in accordance with the British contexts, controls and instructions.

It is noteworthy that the “IELTS” Center at s Technical University is the only center in Al-Furat Al-Awsat region that has been preparing for it since the beginning of this year and is recognized by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research ،
Which was supervised by specialists from the British Council, in coordination and cooperation with the university staff, who were trained by the council on how to manage the examination center.

It is also mentioned that the required pass rate ranges from 4 – 9 and it is one of the most accredited exams in the world as an indicator of a person’s ability and ability to speak English, especially in Britain and Australia.

Participants undergo a pre-test to determine the actual level of the student that enables him to take the final Test.

The test mechanism included various sub-tests, including paper ones that do not require any technology, and electronic ones that rely on computers and the internet.
