Authorities of the Colleges and Institutes Deans
The Dean of the Institute or College Exercises the Following Powers:
1. Monitor the progress of undergraduate and postgraduate studies to achieve the objectives outlined in the law and continuously strengthen the intellectual, educational, and scientific status.
2. Approve the recommendations of department and branch councils.
3. Approve the distribution of courses and semester units among faculty members and lecturers, form committees to discuss theses, and set their schedules.
4. Implement all instructions and regulations issued regarding the organization of academic and educational affairs and the decisions issued by the College Council.

4. Approve the purchase and import of laboratory equipment, other supplies, journals, and books in accordance with applicable legislation.
5. Approve payments of allowances for non-university personnel involved in training and teaching within the college, supervise theses, and participate in comprehensive exam committees and discussion committees according to applicable regulations.
