Delegation of The Central Library Of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Have Visited The Central Library At Al-Kufa University

In the context of exchanging experiences and cooperation between academic institutions. A delegation from the Central Library of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University visited its counterpart at the University of Kufa.  The aim of the visit is to establishment scientific collaboration in the areas of indexing, digital archiving, and exchanging information sources and expertise in the organization and management of academic libraries.

During the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Sahira Aied Abdul-Sahib, the Head of the Central Library at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, met with Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Najim, the General Secretary of the Central Library at the University of Kufa. The two discussed mechanisms for developing the provided services in library, exchanging information sources, and enhancing cooperation in electronic archiving, scientific research, and future collaboration opportunities. The delegation was also introduced to the latest technologies and systems used at the library, as well as key future projects aimed at improving the services provided to researchers and students.

At the end of the visit, the delegation members expressed their gratitude for the warm hospitality, emphasizing the importance of continuing such meetings to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two institutions in a way that serves the scientific and academic progress.
