Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University publishes its book entitled “Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Yearbook: Towards Sustainable Pathways” for the year 2024
Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University has published its book entitled “Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Yearbook: Towards Sustainable Pathways” for the year 2024. The book was conceived and prepared by Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Adel Al-Zuhairi, Secretary of the University Council.
The book aims to introduce the university’s various activities, formations, and future projects for the year 2024. The book, which is 128 pages long, consists of 12 chapters. Chapters one, two, three, four, five, and six cover the university and its formations, including the four technical colleges and eight technical institutes, its board of directors, and its departments. It also covers the university students, success rates, number of graduates, the capacity of the internal departments, and postgraduate students, in addition to the topic of qualification and employment for graduates, the university and its professors, the teaching staff, honoring innovators, academic promotions, fellowships, developing the teaching staff, the teaching eligibility test, the national English language test, the activities of the Center for Continuing Education, and the most important figures who visited the university. On the other hand, the seventh, eighth, and ninth axes addressed: (statistics of seminars, conferences, cooperation with governmental, academic, and civil institutions, cooperation agreements with public universities, cooperation agreements with private universities, cooperation with non-governmental organizations, community service, studies responsive to community needs, the Industrial Advisory Council, and women’s affairs activities). The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth axes addressed (prospects for development, construction, and reconstruction, innovations, the university environment, development of workshops and laboratories, knowledge prospects and quality at the university, national classification and the Bologna system, international classifications, and the latest future plans for developing the university for the year 2025).
