Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations
Culture Relationships Department is considered as a crucial aspect of the university to the world and a bridge between the global academic institutions. It promotes academic and cultural partnerships and evolves scientific and knowledge exchange programs. The department was founded after the establishment of the university in 2014. The department is linked with the Vice President for Scientific Affairs. This department has a fundamental role in concluding memoranda of understanding and partnership agreements with local and international universities. The department aims to support the university's path towards globalization and achieving excellence in research and education. Moreover, it should spread the values of tolerance and cultural understanding.
To become a global leader in academic and cultural cooperation, by developing joint educational and research programs with international universities and institutions and enhancing its role as a scientific and cultural beacon that contributes to building a sustainable future for the local and global community. The vision seeks to:

1- Developing International Partnerships
Enhancing cooperation with academic and research institutions around the world, to build strong relationships based on achieving common goals in education and research.
2- Providing opportunities for academic and cultural exchange
Facilitating exchange programs between university students and professors and their counterparts from international universities, which allows for the exchange of experiences and knowledge between different cultures.
3- Raising Academic and Research Efficiency
Supporting sending students and faculty members on advanced study and training missions, with the aim of developing their skills and enhancing their academic and research experiences.
4- Encouraging Advanced Scientific Research
Developing a research environment that supports innovation and enhances scientific research capabilities through cooperation with international research institutions, to find solutions to global challenges.

2- Division of Students Abroad:
It handles the students' affairs and employees studying abroad and follows up on their academic and administrative matters.
3- Division of Relations and Delegations
It is concerned with strengthening academic and cultural relations and coordinates exchange programs and partnerships with international universities and institutions.
4- Units
- Erasmus Unit
This unit specializes in academic cooperation and student exchange programs within the framework of the Erasmus program, with the aim of improving cultural and knowledge exchange
- Study in Iraq
Unit which aims to attract international students to study in Iraq, and works to support and encourage higher education programs for incoming students.
