Department of studies and planning

This department has been established since the university was founded under the title of the Department of planning and statistics, and the department was within the Department of administrative assistant . The name of the department was then changed to the Department of studies, planning and follow-up and became part of the scientific assistant department by joining the Department .
The department includes three divisions, namely :

1- planning division
2-Statistics Division
3-data and Informatics Division

The tasks of the Planning Division are summarized as:

• Follow-up and supervision of the preparation of study plans and vocabulary and the development or modification of curricula for specialties (engineering,medical health, administrative and Agricultural) in colleges and technical institutes.
• Supervising the e-learning system and following up the e-learning platforms in the University formations. – Follow-up the development of scientific departments and branches in the faculties and institutes of the University in coordination with the Department of studies, planning and follow-up in the Ministry of higher education and scientific research.
• Answering the paragraphs of the minutes of the councils of colleges and institutes related to the tasks of the Department of studies and planning.

The tasks of the Planning Division are summarized as:

The tasks of the Planning Division are summarized as:

• Follow-up and supervision of the preparation of study plans and vocabulary and the development or modification of curricula for specialties (engineering,medical health, administrative and Agricultural) in colleges and technical institutes.
• Supervising the e-learning system and following up the e-learning platforms in the University formations. – Follow-up the development of scientific departments and branches in the faculties and institutes of the University in coordination with the Department of studies, planning and follow-up in the Ministry of higher education and scientific research.
• Answering the paragraphs of the minutes of the councils of colleges and institutes related to the tasks of the Department of studies and planning. – Follow up the implementation of the university calendar of colleges and technical institutes .
• Supervising the follow-up of full-time teaching staff to give lectures at the University and outside and issuing special orders for this, as well as following up the achievement of a quorum of teaching staff and technicians.
• Follow-up of summer training affairs for students of colleges and technical institutes and preparation of annual reports on summer training
• Follow up the work of the deans ‘ committees for all specialties and coordinate between them and the University formations.
• Preparing memoranda of understanding and scientific and Cultural Cooperation held by the University with public and private universities and other Iraqi institutions and following up their implementation.
• Follow-up of the affairs of students from the University’s employees enrolled in the morning and evening preliminary studies (issuing no objection orders to complete the initial study, issuing University orders for Study Leave and following up on study positions).
• Supervising and following up the assignment of teaching staff to prepare and cost methodological books, assistance and book projects coordination with the division of control over the circulation of chemical, biological and hazardous materials with regard to the operations of control over the circulation of chemical and biological materials and follow-up warehouses in colleges and institutes of the University.

The tasks of the statistics division are summarized as:

• Preparing the University statistics for the University formations and providing the ministry with a detailed annual report according to special tables.
• Work on the statistical system for higher education employees for human resources (for teachers and employees) permanent and temporary staff within the electronic portal of the Department of studies, planning and follow-up / statistics and Informatics department
• Working with the statistical system of higher education information for primary studies students within the electronic portal of the Department of studies, planning and follow-up / statistics and Informatics department.
• Preparing the admission plan for the morning and evening preliminary studies.
• Preparing the unified annual statistical report of the university, including accurate statistics for the University’s employees, students, buildings, centers, libraries, and the preparation of workshops and laboratories.

The tasks of the data and Informatics Division Division are summarized as:

• Creation of the database of conferences, seminars and workshops and work on their inclusion in the program (my seminar) and follow-up steps to approve them.
• Creation of a database for university buildings, laboratories and libraries
• Creation of a database of teachers and technicians in the formations of the University.
• Providing the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, the state departments and other university departments with various statistical data and information for university students and employees, as well as data on the University’s scientific and cultural activities.
