Under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Citizens Affairs Division at the university, in collaboration with the Division of the Palace of Culture and Arts – Public Cultural Relations Department at the Ministry of Culture, organized an interactive workshop titled “Professional Integrity Ethics”, inspired by the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl al-Bayt (AS) as a model and a source of enlightenment.
During the workshop’s opening, the University President emphasized that this lecture marks the beginning of an initiative to promote professional ethics across the governorate and all university formations in various provinces.
The workshop covered modern theories in professional values, work ethics, and professional interaction skills, presented by Expert Consultant Mr. Safaa Mahdi Al-Sultani, Director of the National Observatory for Heritage Protection.
Mrs. Wasan, Director of the Citizens Affairs Division, stated: “We are keening on organizing developmental courses for the administrative staff to improve performance skills, enhance expertise, and elevate the level of services provided to citizens.”
Al-Sultani also highlighted the essential principles of building trust between employees and citizens through mutual respect, professional competence, integrity, fairness, credibility, commitment, encouraging participation, and focusing on the humanitarian aspect, as the Citizens Affairs Division plays a key role in this regard. He further explained that these principles involve various levels, including interaction, understanding emotions, fulfilling promises, presenting ideas and questions, and using positive communication language.
