A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Technical Institute of Babylon and the Vocational Training Center affiliated with the Babylon Governorate Office.
The memorandum was signed by Assistant Professor Dr. Oras Khudair Ubaiss, Dean of the Technical Institute of Babylon, and Mr. Asaad Kabroot Sahib Al-Fatlawi, Director of the Babylon Vocational Training Center.
The memorandum included the implementation of training and qualification programs targeting students and graduates of the institute across various disciplines, focusing on the development of technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial skills. This contributes to enhancing their competencies and increasing their chances of obtaining suitable employment in both the public and private sectors.
It is worth noting that the memorandum aims to create a shared training environment that facilitates the exchange of expertise and complements the roles of both parties.
During the signing ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of this initiative in supporting the outcomes of technical and vocational education, by providing real training opportunities that strengthen students’ practical skills and expand their career prospects in line with the continuous developments in local and international labor markets.
