Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, participated in the reception ceremony for new international students held by Ferdowsi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran, representing the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi. This participation came in response to an official invitation extended by the President of Ferdowsi University, Dr. Abdolreza Jafari.
The ceremony was held within the framework of celebrating cultural diversity and strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation among students from various countries around the world. The event took place at the University Presidency Building in the holy city of Mashhad, and was attended by a number of academic leaders, scientific figures, and representatives of participating universities.
The participation emphasized the importance of strengthening international academic relations and exchanging scientific and cultural expertise among universities, contributing to the development of the educational and research process and opening new horizons for joint cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
This participation comes as part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s approach toward academic openness and enhancing its presence in international scientific forums, in a manner that serves the path of higher education and reinforces the standing of Iraqi universities.
