Powers and tasks
1-management, organization and follow-up of student affairs for students of primary studies at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and coordination of all related with the relevant authorities inside and outside Iraq .
2-follow-up the implementation of the plan of admission of preliminary studies to the faculties and institutes of the University for the morning and evening studies.
3-preparing educational evaluation studies related to various student phenomena and providing appropriate recommendations when requested or issuing laws or instructions that should be evaluated .
4-managing and organizing the admission of graduates of the professional branch to the university institutes through a special committee proposed to be formed annually .

5-signing the documents and Wall certificates of graduates of colleges and institutes that are accompanied by the approval of the Ministry of foreign affairs .
6-supervising the performance of work in the divisions of the department, following up the activities of employees and distributing tasks
And responsibilities among the employees of the department in a way that contributes to the development and improvement of work performance .
7-representing the University in scientific and educational conferences and seminars, permanent and temporary committees related to Student Affairs.
8-provide a reading about the student issues raised in the councils of colleges and institutes .
9-addressing the faculties and institutes of the University and answering all inquiries related to Student Affairs

Tasks and duties

  1. Uncles all student decisions and instructions issued by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research on the faculties and institutes of the university, follow-up their implementation and answer incoming inquiries about them .
  2. Recommendation and approval of all that concerns students that are contained in the minutes of the councils of colleges and institutes ( postponement, failure, promotion of enrollment, non-failure, disciplinary penalties …etc.).
  3. Consideration of applications submitted by students of colleges and technical institutes in accordance with student instructions and decisions issued by the ministry and the University .
  4. The answer to the books received from the ministry related to the affairs
    After reviewing the curriculum vitae and the opinion of the deans of colleges and institutes for each case
    5-answering inquiries related to Student Affairs received from ministries, external departments and other universities.
    6-uncles the instructions for students, digitizing their restrictions, passing on the faculties and institutes of the University and answering their inquiries .
    7-participate in the audit of preparatory study documents for students admitted to colleges and institutes for each academic year .
    8-answering the observations and inquiries of the control and Finance Department regarding student affairs, as well as falsified students and checking documents for students admitted to the faculties and institutes of the University .
    10-coordination with the legal affairs department on the measures taken in the field of disciplinary penalties for students as well as fraudulent students .
    11-follow-up the organization of the curriculum vitae of students in colleges and institutes .
    12-execution of hosting orders from and to our colleges and institutes received by the ministry / central admission .
    13 follow-up and implementation of the application and admission procedures within the government private education channel morning .
