It is one of the main and important departments at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. It consists of six divisions, each including engineers and technicians in all specializations required by the department, in addition to service and agricultural workers.
The department aims to develop the necessary plans related to maintenance within the university presidency and its formations, as well as services and the annual agricultural plan.
The Department of Administrative Affairs carries out several activities in cooperation with the university’s formations. These activities represent the annual agricultural plan, maintenance plans, plans of the Technical Workshops and Telecommunications Divisions, and the necessary plans for the Civil Defense Division at the university presidency and its formations.

2- Vehicles and Transportation Division

One of the department’s divisions responsible for all transportation and mobility services at the university presidency and its formations, handling all assigned duties within Al-Najaf Governorate and other provinces.

3- Maintenance and Services Division

One of the department’s divisions responsible for all maintenance work and related services within the university presidency.

4- Civil Defense Division

This division is responsible for monitoring occupational safety and civil defense procedures within the university presidency and its formations.

5- Agricultural Division

One of the department’s divisions responsible for preparing agricultural plans within the university presidency and its formations, as well as following up on all agricultural activities at the presidency.

6- Technical Workshops Division

One of the department’s divisions responsible for all activities related to the workshops affiliated with the university presidency and its associated formations.

7- Wired and Wireless Communications Division

Responsible for overseeing all communication procedures, including wired, wireless, and internet services, within the university presidency.
