In implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and under the direct supervision of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Dr. Hassan Latif Kazem Al-Zubaidi, and within the framework of activating the provisions of the memoranda of understanding concluded with universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and through close coordination by the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency, an official delegation was formed to advance joint academic cooperation.
Representing the University President, the Dean of the Technical Institute of Al-Musayyib, Assistant Professor Dr. Malik Nima Hawas Al-Khazraji, headed an official delegation on a visit to the University of Isfahan to discuss the formal requirements for the First International Conference scheduled to be held in partnership with Karbala Polytechnic College and the University of Isfahan.
The delegation paid an official visit to the University of Isfahan, where a meeting was held with the Assistant President of the University of Isfahan, in the presence of the Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Zahir, along with a distinguished group of faculty members and heads of academic departments.
The discussions resulted in agreement on several key issues, including the identification of the conference’s scientific themes, the approval of reputable academic publishers and peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as the endorsement of the official conference website and the platform for paper submission and uploading.
In addition, an agreement was reached on establishing and amending a number of scientific and organizing committees in line with approved academic and organizational requirements.
This cooperation comes within the context of supporting joint scientific activities, advancing the level of scientific research, and strengthening the institutional presence of the university’s formations in international academic forums.
