Dr. Sanaa Al-Moussawi, Advisor to the Prime Minister, visited Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to discuss a range of issues of mutual interest between both parties.
During the visit, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Kazem Al-Zubaidi, received the Prime Minister’s Advisor in his office along with the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi gave a brief presentation about the university, its faculties, sustainable development projects, and its role in serving the community, particularly regarding programs recently established in response to labor market requirements and the development of the university environment.
On her part, Al-Moussawi stated that the visit aims to emphasize the importance of providing full support to academic institutions, in addition to supporting the technical education environment, and to explore ways to strengthen the relationship between academic institutions and the labor market in a manner that meets community needs.
The meeting also reviewed areas of cooperation with the university and programs of mutual interest.
This visit is expected to open new avenues for cooperation with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, benefiting both students and faculty members.
Several department directors from the university administration also attended the meeting.
