The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the start of applications for the Direct Admission Channel (Public University Private Education) for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up clarified that the application process and testing will conclude on November 10, 2025 for the disciplines included in the Direct Admission Channel for high school graduates from the Scientific, Life Sciences, Applied, Literary, Arts, Vocational, and Islamic branches.
The colleges and departments included in the Direct Admission Channel are: Colleges and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Colleges and Departments of Archaeology, Colleges of Fine Arts and Departments of Art Education, Departments of Kurdish and Turkish Languages, Department of Kindergarten, Department of Home Economics and Technical Professions in Colleges of Basic Education, Colleges of Islamic Sciences and Jurisprudence, Department of Home Economics in universities, and the College of Applied Arts at the Middle Technical University.
Students applying to Colleges and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences must download the application form and complete the medical examination before visiting the university for testing through the electronic portal of the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up: https://dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq.
