The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the electronic portal for the transfer of students who are children of faculty members admitted through central admission (General Channel – Martyrs’ Families Channel), graduates of Distinguished Schools, and Baghdad College students studying in English for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Eligible students admitted outside their home governorate may transfer to corresponding programs in colleges and institutes within their home governorate, provided that the difference between their grade and the minimum admission score for the intended college/department does not exceed five points.

The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up clarified that the activation of exam numbers for children of faculty members holding postgraduate degrees (Master’s and Ph.D.) and affiliated with permanent staff in public universities, as well as Imam Al-Kadhim (AS) College and Imam Al-Azam College, will be carried out electronically through the respective faculty member’s affiliated institution via the Studies Portal (https://dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq). For children of faculty members affiliated with the Ministry headquarters, private universities, or the Research Board, exam numbers will be activated by visiting the Ministry in person with the required documents listed under section (H-6) of the Student Affairs Procedures and Admission Rules Guide for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The application period will continue until Monday, November 10, 2025.
