The University President was accompanied by the Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Mohsen Al-Mujtumi, along with the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Babylon, the Technical College of Al-Musayyib, the Higher Institute of Nanotechnology, the College of Medical Rehabilitation and Prosthetics, and the Technical Institute of Al-Musayyib.

During the tour, both sides explored prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of technology incubators and entrepreneurship. The discussions addressed several key themes, most notably:

  • The importance of technology incubators in supporting entrepreneurial projects and transforming creative ideas into applicable products.

  • The necessity of strengthening cooperation between the two universities to contribute to the development of a technological innovation ecosystem in the region.

  • The training of incubator staff and the significance of preparing qualified personnel capable of managing entrepreneurial projects in accordance with modern standards.

  • The social and economic benefits of incubators in empowering youth and supporting sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the tour, both parties affirmed the continuation of joint coordination to establish a practical executive plan for founding a model technology incubator. This initiative aims to support innovators and entrepreneurs among students and staff of the two universities, in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
