Middle Technical University of Al-Furat
- The university is a secure campus and a center of cultural, intellectual, scientific, and technological influence in society, where minds thrive and creativity and innovation flourish to shape life. It bears direct responsibility for achieving its objectives and conducts continuous studies and research across various aspects of human knowledge, as well as studies related to the scientific situation and emerging needs, ensuring solid and high standards that match the requirements of the era, leading to scientific and technological levels that place Iraq among advanced countries.
The university, its colleges, institutes, and affiliated centers have legal personality, administrative and financial independence, and the legal capacity required to achieve their objectives. Each is managed by the University Council, with the headquarters of the Middle Technical University of Al-Furat located in Najaf Al-Ashraf.
- The University Council meets regularly at least once every month. The University President may call for an extraordinary meeting if necessary or upon a written request by one-third of its members. The council quorum is completed by the presence of the majority of its members, and decisions, proposals, and recommendations are made by the majority of those present. In case of a tie, the side voted by the Council President prevails.
