The Vice President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, attended the central graduation ceremony of the University of Kufa, representing the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi. The ceremony, which was attended and sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the top graduates of the University of Kufa in its thirty-fifth session. In his speech, the Minister of Education expressed the commitment of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to implement everything that would contribute to the advancement and development of the performance of university institutions and their distinction, renewing the keenness of the Ministry and its universities, colleges, institutes and centers to take into account their goals and mission in caring for students, qualifying generations and providing an integrated university environment. He added that the graduation of the thirty-fifth session at the University of Kufa at this time completes the indicator of achievements made in two years of the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in terms of securing the path of the Iraqi certificate and linking it to international accreditation and global contexts and achieving competitive ranks in the classification of universities and the rise of the Iraqi scientific research index in containers and reaping the fruits of the Study in Iraq program by attracting international students to Iraqi universities. It is noteworthy that the graduation ceremony included a review of the graduates’ processions and the University Council procession and a speech by the President of the University of Kufa, Dr. Alaa Naji Al-Mawla and a speech by the graduating students and the ceremonies of granting scientific degrees to the graduates and performing the university oath for the students and the medical oath for the graduates of the students of the colleges of the medical group. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the top graduating students at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony and urged them to exert maximum efforts and harness the available energies and capabilities and work on adapting the tools, technologies and research that enhance the capabilities of university institutions to understand and realize the current challenges and requirements.
