Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Government Contracts Division announces a public tender for the “Procurement of Cleaning Services at Al-Kufa Technical Institute” within the allocations of the Higher Education Fund. The tender will be conducted in accordance with the Government Contracts Implementation Instructions No. (1) of 2025 and the regulations issued pursuant thereto. The standard bidding documents issued by the Ministry of Planning (Non-Consulting Services Bidding Document) shall apply to the procedures of this tender, with the following notes:

The deadline for submission of bids is 12:00 noon on Monday, 9/3/2026. Bids shall be submitted to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Government Contracts Division / Al-Kufa, Al-Bu Haddari area, near Imam Ali Bridge. Late bids will not be accepted.
Bids will be opened the following day at 10:00 a.m. in the same location, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend.
The bid must include a Bid Security (Initial Guarantee) amounting to 5% of the estimated cost, in the form of a bank guarantee letter or certified cheque in the amount of IQD (15,696,000) fifteen million six hundred and ninety-six thousand Iraqi dinars.
Any bid that does not meet any of the required criteria set forth in the standard tender documents shall be disqualified; therefore, bidders must ensure full compliance upon submission.
Bidders may not add to, delete from, or amend the Instructions to Bidders or the General Conditions of Contract.
The bidder must submit the required documents specified in the Bid Data Sheet.
The successful bidder shall bear the costs of publishing the announcement on the electronic platform for advertisements and tenders, in a local newspaper, on posters, as well as the contract archiving fees on the platform.
The University is not obligated to accept the lowest bid.
Bidders may purchase the standard documents from the electronic platform for advertisements and tenders.
The estimated cost of the tender is IQD (313,920,000) three hundred and thirteen million nine hundred and twenty thousand Iraqi dinars.
It is noteworthy that the tender was announced in Al-Sharq Newspaper, Issue No. 4703, on Monday, 23/2/2026.
