The Women’s Affairs Division at the Presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a training course titled “Introduction to the State Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991 (Amended).” The course took place from December 1 to December 8.

The lectures were delivered by:

  • Prof. Dr. Khitam Abdul-Hassan Shan’an
  • Assist. Prof. Dr. Nawras Ahmed
  • Asst. Lecturer Ikhlas Razaq Naham, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division.

The course addressed several critical topics aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding and proper application of the State Employees Discipline Law.

The ending session was attended by the Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Mohsen Al-Mujtami, who praised the efforts behind organizing the course. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in raising legal awareness among university employees. He also emphasized the support provided by the university president to deliver more training and awareness courses aimed at developing employees’ legal and administrative skills. These efforts positively impact the work environment and the overall performance of the institution, which has become one of the leading universities thanks to the vision of its leadership and the dedication of its staff.

Ms. Ikhlas Razaq Naham, Director of the Women’s Affairs Division, stated that this course is part of the division’s plan to organize activities aimed at raising awareness of employment laws among female employees and faculty members. She expressed her gratitude for the support provided by the university president and the assistant directors in charge of women’s affairs.

It is worth noting that the course received positive feedback from all participants, who appreciated the valuable training hours and information provided, as indicated by a survey conducted by the Women’s Affairs Division.
