Through its Educational Guidance Unit and in collaboration with the Department of Medical Equipment Technologies, the Babylon Technical Institute, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, arranged an awareness seminar titled “Explaining the Code of Conduct for Iraqi University Students.”
The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations governing their academic life and to ensure a comprehensive and safe educational environment.
The head of the Department of Medical Equipment Technologies delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the necessity of enhancing students’ understanding of the regulations that govern their behavior within universities. He pointed out that these laws aim to maintain order and discipline within the university campus.
The seminar program included a detailed explanation of the Code of Conduct for Students, highlighting their rights and responsibilities, as well as the procedures to be taken in case of violations. The presenters provided practical examples and case studies to illustrate how the code is applied in real academic settings, which helped students better understand the required instructions and obligations.
The seminar witnessed significant engagement from the students, who posed numerous questions and inquiries, fostering an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and positive interaction. Officials from the Educational Guidance Unit affirmed that such seminars would continue regularly as part of efforts to promote a culture of discipline and commitment among students.
