Tasks of the Scientific Division
Scientific Division Tasks
1- Preparing the university’s scientific research plan, monitoring its implementation, and tracking any changes during the academic year through three periodic reports, in addition to preparing the annual achievement rates according to the formations and the university.
2- Following up on the preparation and implementation of the scientific and educational plan and the activities of the formations through three annual reports that show execution rates.
3- Developing the scientific research capabilities of university staff members by organizing training courses and workshops for faculty members and postgraduate students.
4- Monitoring the scientific sabbatical of faculty researchers inside Iraq in accordance with the applicable regulations.
5- Responding to the Ministry’s Research and Development Department correspondences and preparing statistics and reports required regarding various scientific research matters within the university.
6- Responding to the inquiries of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit related to scientific research affairs in the university.
7- Circulating correspondences from the Ministry’s Research and Development Department and Iraqi universities regarding conferences, workshops, and other scientific activities, and unifying the responses of formations.
8- Unifying the responses of formations to the correspondences of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority and the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department related to scientific research affairs.
