Based on the principle of cooperation between Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine in the field of information and communications technology, a delegation from the Computer Center represented by Dr. Tamim Hamid Obeida, the center’s staff, and the head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the Karbala Technical Institute, Mr. Rasool Taher Rasool, visited the Al-Kafeel Center to view the mechanism of the programs and systems in the center that can be applied in our university. For their part, a group of system designers presented many programs, including the library system, which was designed according to international requirements and can be used by students and professors. The website was also discussed, and many topics were discussed, including how to protect the site. For their part, the center’s employees expressed their full readiness to provide security services for the sites, and the Siraj system for managing student information and the electronic archiving system were presented. At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their desire to conduct continuous visits for the purpose of extending cooperation between the shrine and the university.
