The University Presidency would like to inform the honorable citizens that a number of educational and service projects will be implemented on the lands surrounding the University Presidency under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. These projects include the establishment of two colleges and a higher institute for postgraduate studies, and the construction of a 200-bed government teaching hospital in coordination with the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The project aims to provide health and educational services to the people of the region. The project also includes the construction of a building for the Najaf Police Command, which will include a number of diverse departments and divisions. This will enhance the security infrastructure in the province, following coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the Najaf Governorate. The above-mentioned projects will be implemented after legal procedures are completed against those encroaching on university-owned land. Details of these lands are listed below:
