Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Organizes a Seminar Entitled
“A Healthy Lifestyle for the Prevention of Women’s Diseases”**
In line with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Al-Kufa Technical Institute, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific awareness seminar entitled:
“A Healthy Lifestyle for the Prevention of Women’s Diseases.”
The event was held in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacy Techniques and the Department of Emergency Medicine and First Aid Techniques.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Lecturer Ban Mahdi Saleh and Assistant Lecturer Noor Salam Naama, covered several key topics, including an overview of the most common women’s diseases worldwide and the role of a balanced diet in preventing them.
The discussions also addressed the nutritional systems that should be followed to reduce the risk of disease, highlighting vegetables, fruits, and grains that contribute significantly to women’s health and disease prevention.
Additionally, the seminar emphasized the importance and benefits of regular physical activity and exercise in promoting overall physical well-being.
The event also featured a scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Hawraa Hassan Latif, titled “Angina Pectoris: Types, Causes, Risk Factors, Symptoms, and Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment.”
The seminar concluded with interactive discussions and engaging conversations with attendees, who shared real-life experiences from their families about recovery and prevention methods related to women’s health and breast cancer.
