Based on its legal authority to manage the university admissions process in Iraq and to establish a framework for organizing the 2024/2025 academic year while ensuring a fair competitive environment that accommodates student enrollment in all academic disciplines, the Higher Advisory Board at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided the following:
▪️ For admission to Colleges of Medicine, the minimum required application and competition score shall be no less than 95% in public universities and private universities/colleges, starting from the 2024/2025 academic year.
▪️ For admission to Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy, the minimum required application and competition score shall be no less than 85% in private universities and colleges, starting from the 2024/2025 academic year.
▪️ All privileges previously granted in admission portals to any category of applicants are canceled, except for those legally mandated.
