Mortadha Basim Faleh, a student at the Babylon Technical Institute of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning first place in the annual competition titled “Voice of Iraqi Universities and Institutes,” organized by the Holy Al-Hussein Shrine in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The competition aims to identify and nurture students’ creative talents in oratory, chanting, and vocal performance, while promoting a spirit of positive competition among students from Iraqi universities and institutes. It witnessed wide participation from educational institutions across the country, in an atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and creativity.
Specialized judging panels applied precise evaluation criteria, including stage presence, pronunciation accuracy, vocal quality, and audience impact. Through his outstanding performance, Mortadha Basim Faleh excelled among his competitors and rightfully secured the first-place position.
