The Continuing Education Council at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University convened its sixth meeting for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, in the presence of the esteemed council members, to discuss mechanisms for developing the work of the Continuing Education Center.
At the outset of the meeting, the University President welcomed the attendees and emphasized in his address the necessity of providing capacity-building services to university staff as well as to other sectors of society, foremost among them graduates and final-year students, particularly in the field of soft skills required by the labor market.
On the other hand, he directed attention to the possibility of further developing training programs in a manner that enables both trainees and trainers to benefit from them across all training activities.
He also commended the efforts exerted by the staff of the Continuing Education Center through the organization of a considerable number of training courses, workshops, and seminars, in addition to the development of several software programs aimed at facilitating the Center’s operations, most notably the Teaching Methods Program, the Trainers’ Evaluation Program, and other important applications.
The meeting also included a review of the items listed on the agenda, and the necessary measures were taken accordingly.
