In a vibrant academic and cultural atmosphere, the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Kufa, one of the institutions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, concluded the activities of the Second Cultural Creativity Festival, which commenced with a remarkable and distinguished attendance of academic, scientific, and administrative figures.
The festival constituted a rich creative platform, bringing together a diverse spectrum of faculty members, staff, and students. The event was headed by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, alongside Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Waday, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs; Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Mohsen Al-Mujtumi, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs; and the deans of the university’s Kufa-based colleges.
The festival opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in remembrance of the martyrs, and the playing of the Iraqi national anthem.
In his address, the University President commended the efforts devoted to organizing such festivals, urging students to maintain a balance between academic pursuits and creative expression, and to explore their talents and innovative capacities, which positively reflect on the educational process.
In the same context, Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Rumahi, Dean of the College, expressed her gratitude to the University President for his continuous support and close follow-up of the college’s construction and development projects. She affirmed that the achievements realized during this phase are the result of his insightful vision in advancing the university and its institutions at both the local and international levels.
