As part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s orientation toward strengthening international scientific and academic cooperation, a joint virtual meeting was held between the university and Amirkabir University of Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran, one of the leading technological universities, with the participation of a number of officials and academics from both sides.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for activating the provisions of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities, particularly with regard to establishing a Persian Language Teaching Center through joint cooperation between the two parties, in a manner that contributes to expanding the fields of scientific and cultural collaboration.
Amirkabir University of Technology expressed its readiness to cooperate in opening a branch of the Persian Language Teaching Center within Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The two sides agreed to complete the necessary requirements and procedures for establishing the center within the framework of joint educational cooperation.
The meeting also addressed the operational mechanism of the center, whereby it was decided that educational programs and examinations would be conducted electronically through a digital platform supervised by the Iranian Ministry of Science and Technology, with trainees receiving an officially accredited graduation certificate upon passing the final examination.
Both sides emphasized the importance of developing academic partnerships and exchanging scientific expertise in ways that enhance opportunities for international cooperation and support the educational and research environment at both universities.
