Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Participates in Financial Inclusion Activities during Arab Financial Inclusion Week
Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, represented by the Technical Institute of Al-Samawa, participated in a financial inclusion event held as part of the activities of Arab Financial Inclusion Week. The event was organized by the Iraqi Private Banks League in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq and took place at Al-Baraka Commercial Mall in the city of Al-Samawa.
The event was attended by a number of government officials and representatives of financial institutions. During the event, the institute’s delegation, headed by Dr. Safaa Latif, Head of the Training and Employment Unit, presented an overview of the institute’s academic and technical directions. These included the introduction of modern specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, the development of curricula in line with the digital transformation of the financial sector, and support for financial and digital literacy programs.
This participation reflects Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s commitment to strengthening the integration of academic education with labor market requirements, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and fostering an educational environment that keeps pace with contemporary technological advancements.
