The Board of Directors of the Higher Education Fund at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Kadhim Al-Zubaidi, with the attendance of the committee members, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Mujtomi, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and the directors of the relevant departments.
During the meeting, the board reviewed the items listed on the agenda and those included in the minutes of the Fund Council meetings across the university’s constituent institutions. The necessary decisions were taken regarding these matters.
The recommendations included providing financial support to a number of university formations to sustain the educational process, develop the university’s infrastructure, and support scientific activities across its institutions. These measures aim to enhance the university’s academic performance and keep pace with developments at leading international universities, following the review and auditing of the submitted financial statements and documentation.
The University President emphasized the importance of the optimal investment of resources to achieve the university’s goals and mission, foremost among them the provision of high-quality technical education.
