Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Achieves a New Academic Milestone with Significant Advancement in the Global RUR University Rankings
Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University has achieved a new academic milestone by advancing to 16th place among 47 public and private Iraqi universities in the RUR (Round University Ranking) World University Rankings for the current year, compared to 33rd place last year.
This remarkable progress reflects the university’s successful efforts to enhance education, scientific research, and its academic presence at both the national and international levels, further reinforcing its growing reputation among Iraqi higher education institutions.
The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, stated that this achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts of the university’s academic, research, and administrative staff across all its colleges and formations. He emphasized that it reflects the university’s commitment to improving the quality of education and scientific research, as well as developing its academic environment in line with international standards.
