May Allah magnify your reward and grant you patience and solace on the solemn remembrance of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein, and his family and companions.

It is both my pleasure and honor to welcome you all to this blessed gathering on the occasion of the University and Labor Market Forum, held at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. This meeting represents a cornerstone in building a promising economic and knowledge-based future for our beloved country.

Today, we come together with one fundamental objective in mind: to establish genuine integration and bridge the gap between academia and the labor market.

In a world that is rapidly moving toward green innovation and a sustainable economy, the private sector is no longer merely a consumer of educational outcomes; rather, it has become a strategic partner and a key driver in achieving sustainable development.

Our university is moving decisively toward establishing a Scientific Incubator, which we hope will serve as a practical bridge for building a strong and lasting relationship between the university and the industrial sector.

A site of 4,200 square meters has been allocated for the incubator building, which will consist of two floors and feature a modern architectural design inspired by the experiences of leading international and Turkish universities.

Supporting start-up projects, embracing young people’s innovative ideas, and investing in environmentally friendly production lines are the only viable means of creating a resilient economy capable of overcoming future challenges.

Sustainable development cannot be achieved through slogans alone. It requires genuine partnerships that transform scientific research into practical solutions serving society and safeguarding its resources.

Among our primary objectives is to bridge the gap and strengthen collaboration between the university and industrial institutions.

Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, with its distinguished academic expertise and advanced laboratories, opens its doors wide to expand cooperation with your industrial organizations. We firmly believe that:

  • Academic curricula should be developed jointly by industrial experts and university professors to ensure graduates possess the practical skills required to contribute effectively from the very beginning of their professional careers.
  • Undergraduate research projects and postgraduate studies should be directed toward solving real challenges faced by your factories and companies.
  • Practical training opportunities for our students within your institutions should be expanded to facilitate their early integration into the workplace and enhance their professional readiness.

“The strength of universities is measured by the impact they make on their communities, while the strength of industry is measured by its ability to keep pace with scientific advancement. Our role in this forum is to unite these two sources of strength in order to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.”

In conclusion, I extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of you for your presence and your strong commitment to ensuring the success of this forum. I wish our meeting every success and hope that it will result in practical decisions and meaningful recommendations that will further strengthen this strategic partnership.

Thank you very much.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
