The Board of Directors of the Higher Education Fund at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Kadhim Al-Zubaidi, and in the presence of the board members, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Mujtomi, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, as well as the directors of the relevant departments.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed the agenda items and the recommendations contained in the minutes of the Higher Education Fund councils across the university’s colleges and institutes. The necessary decisions were made accordingly.
The Board’s recommendations included providing financial support to several university formations to sustain the educational process, develop the university’s infrastructure, and support scientific activities across its colleges and institutes in preparation for the 2026–2027 academic year. These measures are intended to enhance the University’s academic performance and keep pace with the advancements achieved by leading international universities, following a thorough review and audit of the submitted financial statements.
The University President emphasized the importance of the optimal investment of available resources to achieve the University’s mission and strategic objectives, foremost among them the delivery of high-quality technical education.
