The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the adoption of a digital admission mechanism for private universities and colleges for the 2026–2027 academic year. The Ministry called on students who have successfully completed secondary school not to fill out any paper-based or electronic forms promoted by some private universities and colleges for the purpose of reserving seats, stressing that applications must be submitted exclusively through the Ministry-approved Qadam Platform.

The Ministry emphasized that any procedures or forms completed prior to official admission and outside the approved digital platform are not considered part of the recognized admission process and carry no legal or administrative validity within the admission system.

It further explained that the processes of application, competitive selection, and admission are centrally administered in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions, based on the information and preferences submitted by students through the official digital platform.

The Ministry also urged students and their families to rely exclusively on its official sources for information related to university admission and to avoid responding to any procedures, advertisements, or announcements issued outside the official platform. This measure is intended to safeguard students’ rights and ensure that all applications and admissions to private universities and colleges proceed through the officially approved channels.
