Following the remarkable success of the first workshop in The Research Journey of Iraq series, which attracted broad participation from more than 2,000 researchers and academics from various Iraqi universities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the international publishing group Taylor & Francis, continues to deliver this specialized scientific series aimed at developing the skills of Iraqi researchers and enhancing the quality of scientific research and academic publishing.
The second workshop in the series is entitled:
Writing Your Manuscript
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Baghdad time.
The workshop aims to support Iraqi researchers and develop their skills throughout the various stages of preparing and publishing scientific research in accordance with international best practices and academic standards.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research invites Iraqi universities, faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students to participate in the workshop and benefit from the international expertise provided by Taylor & Francis. The initiative seeks to further develop researchers’ academic and publishing skills while enhancing the quality, visibility, and impact of Iraqi scientific research.
