A delegation from the Secretariat of the Holy Kufa Mosque and its affiliated shrines visited the Presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and met with the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, to discuss mechanisms for joint cooperation and coordinate efforts related to the activities of the 14th Cultural Season, scheduled to be held on October 5.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Jasim Mohammed Abboud Al-Abidi, Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department. During the meeting, the general themes of the season’s program were reviewed, along with ways to strengthen the academic and student participation of the university’s institutions, colleges, and institutes, in a manner that contributes to advancing the scientific process and fostering sound intellectual awareness among young people.
For his part, Dr. Al-Zubaidi welcomed the delegation, praising the noble mission undertaken by the Holy Kufa Mosque and its distinguished initiatives in serving the community. He affirmed the University Presidency’s commitment to providing full academic support and logistical assistance to ensure the success of this knowledge-oriented event.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on strengthening the framework of sustainable partnership between the two institutions and maintaining continuous coordination to achieve the desired objectives of the Cultural Season.
