Iraq’s Third Conference on Higher Education 2026
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is preparing to launch the Third Iraqi Conference on Higher Education, which will be held at the University of Baghdad on October 28–29, 2026, under the theme:
“From Education to Development: Global Partnerships and Universities Shaping the Future”
The conference will bring together a distinguished group of university leaders, academics, researchers, international partners, and higher education institutions from Iraq and abroad to create new avenues for dialogue and knowledge exchange, while fostering sustainable academic partnerships.
The conference will address a range of key themes shaping the future of higher education, including internationalization and global partnerships, scientific research and innovation, digital transformation, transnational education, and strengthening the role of universities in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Two days of dialogue, collaboration, and ideas aimed at shaping a better future for higher education.
