The Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, welcomed the Ambassador of the European Union in Iraq and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Al-Zuhairy gave a brief presentation about the university, its formations, and the development that the university has witnessed in recent years concerning the programs that have been recently developed to meet the labor market requirements.
During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the university and the European Union, in coordination with UNESCO, Iraq branch, regarding implementing the Bologna procession for the proposed specializations and programs related to capacity building for teaching and technical staff, were reviewed.
On the other hand, His Excellency the Ambassador made a field tour of the university campus in which he was briefed on the completed projects and the other projects in progress. During his tour, he met with many students and praised the efforts made to achieve a model university environment that is safe and comfortable for all.
