Managing, organizing, and following up on student affairs for undergraduate students at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, coordinating all related matters with relevant authorities inside and outside Iraq, resolving and addressing student academic cases according to regulations and instructions, and ensuring quick completion through the use of modern technologies.
The department aims to achieve its goals, facilitate procedures, and be a shining part of our beloved university’s journey by following up with students from admission until graduation and providing them with their graduation documents.
1. Organize work and follow up on all matters related to undergraduate student affairs, presenting a respectable image in work organization.
2. Implement the admission plan for the morning study programs across all university departments.
3. Resolve all problems and obstacles facing students and find suitable solutions.
4. Supervise evening study registration and issue the related university orders.
5. Manage and organize the admission of graduates from vocational branches in all university institutes.

2- Following up on the implementation of the undergraduate admission plan for the university’s colleges and institutes for both morning and evening studies.
3- Preparing evaluative educational studies on various student phenomena and providing appropriate recommendations upon request or when new laws or instructions require evaluation.
4- Managing and organizing the admission of vocational branch graduates in university institutes through a special committee proposed annually.
5- Signing official documents and graduation certificates for college and institute graduates, including authentication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
6- Supervising the work in the department’s divisions, monitoring staff activities, and distributing tasks and responsibilities to enhance and improve performance.
7- Representing the university in conferences, educational and scientific seminars, and permanent or temporary committees related to student affairs.
8- Providing insights on student-related issues discussed in college and institute councils.
9- Corresponding with the university’s colleges and institutes and responding to all inquiries related to student affairs.
