1. Circulate all student-related decisions and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the university's colleges and institutes, follow up on their implementation, and respond to related inquiries.
2. Recommend and approve all student matters presented in the minutes of college and institute councils (e.g., deferment, failure, registration promotion, non-failure, disciplinary penalties, etc.).
3. Review requests submitted by students of colleges and technical institutes according to student instructions and decisions issued by the Ministry and the University.
4. Respond to correspondence from the Ministry related to student affairs in the university's colleges and institutes after reviewing the academic record and the opinion of the deans of each college or institute.
5. Respond to student affairs inquiries received from ministries, external departments, and other universities.
6. Circulate instructions related to registered students, coordinate across the university’s colleges and institutes, and respond to related inquiries.
7. Verify high school certificates of students admitted to colleges and institutes each academic year.
8. Respond to observations and inquiries from the Audit and Finance Department regarding student affairs, as well as issues related to fraudulent students and document verification for admitted students.
10. Coordinate with the Legal Affairs Department regarding procedures related to student disciplinary actions and cases of fraudulent students.
11. Follow up on organizing students’ academic records in colleges and institutes.
12. Execute hosting orders to and from our colleges and institutes as received from the Ministry / Central Admission.
13. Follow up and implement application and admission procedures through the government-sponsored morning study channel.
