Financial Authorities
1. Approval of the university’s annual financial budget plan, import plan, and investment plan in coordination with the relevant authorities.
2. Ratification of the university’s final financial statements.
3. Reviewing and discussing the Financial Audit Bureau’s report, identifying deficiencies, and working to address them.
4. Approval of expenditures under the budget, investment plan, and import plan within the limits of the approved allocations.
5. Approval of budget transfers between items and sections based on a proposal from the university president and in accordance with the State General Budget Implementation Instructions.
6. Delegation of certain authorities to the university president.
7. Encouraging research and studies that contribute to the development of various scientific specializations in line with the needs of the local market.
8. Opening avenues of joint cooperation between researchers and various Iraqi and international universities, and participating in research groups related to postgraduate studies.
