It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, this platform that represents the university’s window to society and reflects its academic mission and future vision in building human beings and developing the nation.
Since its establishment, our university has taken confident steps towards solidifying its position as one of the leading technical universities in Iraq, through developing its academic programs, elevating the quality of education, enhancing scientific research, and opening up to local and international partnerships, in line with the requirements of the labor market and the goals of sustainable development.
At Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, we believe that the modern university’s mission is not limited to graduating competencies, but extends to being a center for knowledge production, an incubator for innovation, a driver of economic and social development, and an active partner in addressing national challenges.
From this standpoint, we continue to work on updating the infrastructure, developing laboratories and educational workshops, introducing qualitative specializations, expanding postgraduate programs, and empowering students and researchers to excel and innovate.
