Within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise among universities and educational institutions, a delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University visited Shaqlawa Technical College – Erbil, with the aim of expanding prospects for joint collaboration in academic and technical fields.
The delegation included Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, Dean of the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah; Professor Dr. Hasnain Ghani Al-Husseini, Dean of the Engineering Technical College – Najaf; and Professor Dr. Qahtan Adnan Al-Fatlawi, Dean of Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute.
The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Abdulkhaliq Nader, Dean of Shaqlawa Technical College – Erbil. During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing academic and scientific cooperation and exploring mechanisms for joint coordination in areas of expertise exchange, particularly in technical and applied education, in alignment with labor market requirements and in a manner that strengthens the quality of educational outcomes.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication and coordination to support the academic and research mission, promote the exchange of successful experiences among educational institutions, serve students’ interests, and advance the standard of technical education in Iraq.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Deanship of Shaqlawa Technical College – Erbil for the warm reception, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening joint cooperation in pursuit of shared academic and scientific objectives.
